Men's squash closes NESCAC Championship with Bowdoin match
The Hamilton College Continentals dropped a 9-0 decision against the Bowdoin College Polar Bears in the 2018 NESCAC Men's Squash Championship's seventh-place match at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Sunday morning.
The Continentals (6-11 overall) were the No. 7 seed for the championship and 26th in the College Squash Association (CSA) team rankings. Bowdoin (5-11) was seeded eighth for this event and ranked 27th by the CSA.
Callum Sondhi '20 and Ward Urban '18 came the closest to earning team points for Hamilton but both were edged in five games at the second and eighth positions, respectively. Jarrod Gerstein '20 won the exhibition match in five games, including 11-5 in the decisive fifth.
The Continentals host Vassar College at 2 p.m. and Colgate University at 4 p.m. back at Little Squash Center on Saturday, Feb. 10.
