Top class squash is coming to Southport - and you could be there to see it.
World Number 14 Cameron Pilley will be playing World Number 19 Daryl Selby in an exhibition match at Southport and Birkdale cricket club on Thursday, June 30 from 6.30pm.
Australian Cameron Pilley holds the world record for hitting the fastest squash ball at 177mph and recently made it to World Series final in Dubai in May.
Darryl Selby is a former British champion and has won a Commonwealth Bronze medal.
The event is being held to raise funds to help the Southport and Birkdale squash clubs first team who won promotion into North West Counties Division 1 next season, which means people will be able to see top quality squash at the club on Tuesday nights next season.
Tickets are £25 for the night.
Cameron and Selby will be coaching the juniors early doors, then they will take to the court with players from the club who can buy a raffle ticket for £5 for the chance to spend 20 minutes on the court with world class players.
The main exhibition match follows which is sure to be a great spectacle.
Tickets are £25 and there are only a few left.
