DAY ONE update at the ongoing EL GOUNA INTERNATIONAL


The 2019 El Gouna International gets underway on Wednesday, with a host of action at the EL Gouna Squash Complex.

It is the eighth edition of the annual men's PSA World Tour Platinum event, with the second edition of the women's event also taking place.

The action gets underway at 12:00 local time (GMT+2), as eight-time World Champion Nicol David gets her campaign underway.

She faces wildcard entry Jana Shiha, who is just one of a raft of Egyptians who get their tournament started on Wednesday.

Mayar Hany, Mazen Hesham, Mostafa Asal and Mariam Metwally are just some of the other home favourites to play their first round matches at the Sports Complex today.
