Sports247.ng can report that, after beating his teammate, Wale Amao in the final, Abdulrahman said he was able to get the upper hand and win 2-1 because of sheer determination.
Being his third appearance in the multi-sports fiesta, Abdulrahman was excited about his first medal.
Abdulrahman, however, admitted that it was a tough match as both players are familiar foes.
After the festival exploits, Abdulrahman is heading for a competition in United States early next year, for which he disclosed that he needs a lot of support and sponsorship.
He added: “I used to join my prize monies to whatever I could get around for me to play in most of the international tournaments I have featured because I believe I have to make sacrifices.
“I want to appeal to governments and private spirited people to assist my aspirations and ambitious to grow in my career.”
