DISCIPLINARY UPDATE: TWO SUSPENDED AND ONE WARNED
Two players have been suspended and one warned about their future behaviour following breaches of the PSA Code of Conduct.
Egypt’s Omar Bahgat and Australia’s Shahzad Khan have both been suspended, while Mexico’s Alfredo Avila has been warned about his future behaviour following unsportsmanlike conduct at the 2018 Nash Cup.
Alfredo Avila (MEX)
Offence: Breach of PSA Code of Conduct rule 10.4.O ‘Unsportsmanlike Conduct’ during the Nash Cup 2018
Action: Player warned about future behaviour
Omar Bahgat (EGY)
Offence: No show at the Beijing Squash Challenge 2018
Action: Player suspended for 45 days
Shahzad Khan (AUS)
Offence: Accumulation of five zeroes at multiple events
Action: Player suspended for three months
