ASHOUR PULLS OUT OF HONG KONG OPEN
Three-time Hong Kong Open champion Ramy Ashour has withdrawn from the 2018 edition of the PSA World Tour Platinum tournament due to a knee injury.
Ashour was due to line up at the event between November 19-25, but his place in the draw will be taken up by England No.1 Declan James, who now receives a bye into round two.
New Zealand’s Campbell Grayson will now play James’s compatriot, George Parker, while India’s Ramit Tandon moves into the main draw and he will take on Scotland’s Alan Clyne in round one.
