The Middlebury men's squash team dropped a 7-2 decision Sunday at 12th-ranked Drexel in its regular-season finale at the Kline & Specter Squash Center. With the setback, the 21st-ranked Panthers fall to 7-11 and return to action at the CSA Team Championships from February 23-25 in Hartford, Connecticut.
In Sunday's contest with the Dragons (7-10), the hosts claimed the first four points to finish at #1, #5, #8 and #4. The Panthers earned their first point at #2 when Jacob Ellen defeated Lucas Rousselet, who retired due to injury.
Drexel secured team points five through seven with victories at #7, #9 and #6. Jack Kagan rounded out the scoring with an 11-6, 9-11, 15-13, 11-7 triumph in the third spot over Atticus Kelly.
