Dessouky Withdraws from Men's World Championship Following Injury

 Fares Dessouky
Egypt’s World No.8 Fares Dessouky has withdrawn from December’s AJ Bell Men’s World Championship due to a torn ACL suffered at the recent Hong Kong Open.
Dessouky suffered the injury in his quarter-final clash with England’s Declan James in Hong Kong. The Egyptian was 2-0 games up and 3-2 up in third against the Englishman when injury struck and he was forced to retire from the match.
With Dessouky facing a long period of rehabilitation, his fellow PSA players have offered their support on social media.

The PSA would like to join the players in wishing Fares a safe and speedy recovery.
