It was an historic event; a repeat of the 12th Cargolux tournament between Haniel & dele yesterday at the 13th Cargolux Squash Tournament.
The 13th Cargolux Merchant Express Squash tournament which took place at the Lagos country club came to an end on Saturday, 12th of August 2017 with Haniel Hadison winning the most coveted prize.
In the opens event, Haniel won Dele Obasuyi 3-1 majors. Hadison represented the Lagos country club while Dele represented Benin Squash club. Bunmi Apata also representing LCC went home with a bronze medal in the men's open.
Busayo olatunji & Onaopemipo emerged under 19 female & male champions respectively.
The week-long tournament served up some of the finest squash seen featured in the semi-finals and the finals in all the categories including the U-15, U-19 classics. The likes of OAU SQUASH CLUB i.e Obafemi Awolowo University Squash club, Shittu Adeola representing OAU squash club among the last for standing which graced him and his club among the medalist, winning a bronze medal.
