The Professional Squash Association (PSA) would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family of National Sports Institute of Malaysia Sports Therapist Ronald Fauvel after the 56-year-old sadly passed away last night.
The personal therapist for eight-time World Champion Nicol David since 1997, Ronald was a respected member of the squash community and his presence on the PSA World Tour will be sorely missed.
Ronald, from Montreal, Canada, leaves behind a wife and two children and his cremation will be held on Saturday June 3 at the Gui Yuan Crematorium in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
"On behalf of everyone associated with the PSA, I would like to express our sincerest condolences to Ronald’s family at this sad and difficult time," said PSA Chief Executive Alex Gough.
"Ronald has been integral to the incredible success of Nicol David’s career and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone connected to Ronald after this tragic loss."
