Pioneering German squash company interactiveSquash have been offering squash fans around the world a unique opportunity to compete on a start of the art all-glass show court – complete with ASB's brand new all-glass floor technology and interactiveSquash's ground-breaking technology driving interface – at Munich Airport.
Set up on April 19th – and remaining in situ for fans to have a go until April 28th – the company, who earlier this year won an ISPO Brand New Fitness technology award for their immersive graphic based product that transforms a squash court into an interactive playground, are giving squash fans the chance to play on the court in one hour slots.
Located in the Munich Airport Center between Terminals 1 and 2, it marks the first time worldwide that an interactiveSquash court has been make publicly available to play on while throughout the entirety of the two-week show, interactiveSsquash will be hosting a variety of events including mini-tournaments, games and training tutorials.
Current World No.1 Gregory Gaultier was amongst the players to visit the court over the weekend, and the 'General' was impressed with what he saw:

interactiveSQUASH is on a mission to revolutionise the sport of squash by transforming existing courts into technologically-advanced training facilities. Utilising a projector and several cameras, interactiveSQUASH is a platform that consists of over 20 games and training modules. The goal is to introduce the game to a brand new generation of players and help improve the way seasoned veterans train. Founder Markos Kern states “Our main objective is to help grow the sport. By integrating technology into the traditional squash court, we’re adapting squash for the 21st century.”
