The 6th annual Simon Warder Memorial Pro Am Squash Tournament raised more than $47,000 this year.
The tournament, which took place at Huron Oaks, benefited the Bluewater Health prostate cancer clinic and St. Joseph’s Hospice.
Since it began, the event has raised $157,370 in memory of local squash player and referee Simon Warder, who died five years ago of prostate cancer.
The event is sanctioned by the Professional Squash Association and drew some top players from around the world.
